Default A crab is eating my fish!

I have this large black legged crab in my tank that came as a hitchhiker. His body is larger than a toonie, and I don't know how to get rid of him. I suspect he has been eating some of my smaller fish. Catching him is difficult because I have a lot of live rock in the tank.

Any suggestions on a crab trap?

Thanks,

Jim

Here's a video I made of some crab traps we used. In other tanks without the worm talked about in this video, the bait in glass trap worked well...

Is it black with realllly long claws that seem to reach out forever?

I had on like that and couldn't ever get it in a trap. I ended up making a harpoon out a thin dowel and a heavy duty needle in the tip. I seen it with the maglight late one night and.................. You know the rest.

If you know which rock it is hiding in, take that rock out and freshwater dip it.
