You may end up with some heat issues, but that can be solved by moving the light higher.

Thanks i have built a closed hood for it ,venting the hood out side im hoping that that takes care of the heat issues.

I was also told to move my coral to the bottom of the tank intill the corals get used to the light or it will cause them to bleach is this true? and if so how long will it take to get used to it??

Thanks gerard

Yup, very true. You should move them down & slowly move them back up, maybe over a period of a couple of weeks at least, depending on how bright is your current lighting.

If you dont want to move your corals, start the light high up, and slowly lower it into position.
