Default MH systems

im sure this has been talk about already. But im going to ask anyway.
Is there a difference in the MH system you get from a hydroponics store and the one you can buy at J&L or OA.?
I know its cheaper looking and the bulb I would have to get somewere else but the cost is so different.

Have you ever been in OA? Go look what they are using on all their tanks. It looks like its all MH from a hydroponics store.

Magnetic ballasts push out more PAR than the fancy and more expensive electronic ones too.
