Default Shells

Hey everyone,

I just returned from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. While I was down there I found some really neat shells that I was hoping to put in my tank (even some that my hermit crabs may enjoy as a new home ). What is the safest way to do this? Should I boil the shells to kill any bacteria on them?

Also, I do have some pictures from snorkelling, but they're still sitting on my disposable underwater camera's (who knows how well they'll turn out). Once I get them developed I'll be sure to post any good ones .

Thanks in advance for your input,

Yes, boil them first.
