Default Lighting for 7.5 Bow front tank??

Any one out there that has one of these tanks? What kind of lighting did you put on it? Where did you buy the lighting from? I would like to make mine into a lil reef, mainly softies for now.

Thanks for any input.

I used to have one, at first I used 2 13 watt 50/50 pc bulbs, then I put a 70 watt halide on it. I found the halide was too yellow, the pc bulbs looked good but lost thier intensity very fast. I gutted out the light strip that came with the tank and installed my own lighting in it, I must say it looked pretty good.

i run one over my 3.5, they light is pretty weak. i would recomend you swap out the actinic and add another 10 bulb you so can get 18 watts of light, of if you have space try 2 of them.

What about rigging up the 20w 50/50 PC bulbs with built in ballasts from Coralife? They plug into any regular light socket.
