Default Can anyone tell me about this halide?

I got this 70 watt HQI Osram MH bulb today I was wondering if anyone could tell me about it here is what it reads on the bulb

OSRAM
Powerstar
WQI-TS 70W/NDL
Made in Germany
qe2

Like I said it is a 70 watt HQI can anyone tell me anything at all about this bulb?

color temp 4200K The NDL is natual daylight. The TS I believe is tubular double ended.

SO is this bad to run on my tank then? I got 2 24 inch marine glo bubls on the tank as well? Should i get a new bulb.

That would depend on what you keep in your tank and their requirments. Usually you change your mh bulbs after 12 to 18 months or when the color temp changes. I have not been doing this long enough to advise you on your particular bulb.

Right now I will use it for shrooms and Zoos also some leathers but once I got to LPS i am going to upgrade to a 150 watt HQI 14 or 16000K bulb

That low of a color temp will make your tank water look like apple juice and could also cause algae problems. Your marine glow bulbs will be pretty useless in counteracting the yellowness of the bulb.
