Yeah. I think they go for $65 each at J&L.

Its a good deal if you like the colour of Coralife bulbs. I have one and found it a bit yellow. I have switched to a Gieseman bulb, and have found it to be a world of difference. However, they are more than twice the money.

Hey Bob,

What do you mean yellow.

The HQI I am using by coral life you say seem yellow??And what is the other type?Where do you buy them from?I have never heard of them.I may look into that as well.I just curious as another LPS sells the HQI I was mentioning for that price .But I never seen a yellow tinge in my tank.Well not yet anyways......AAAHHHH Mannnn .thanks BOB now I will be seeing yellow everytime I look at it now.

To my eyes it was yellowish. This was a six month old bulb, but if you like it, don't take what I feel as gospel. Gieseman bulbs are available from J&L.

Very good deal - I just paid $60 each! I like them, I don't see them as yellow - more on the blue end, but maybe that's me.

It is all how your eyes see things. In my case there was another tank with a 50/50 bulb next to the tank with the Coralife bulb. That was probably why it looked yellowish.
