Default How do I know if my live rock is dead?

Just a quick question.

I'm new to reef keeping and i've got a 33gal tank that seems to be doing quite well. My live rock doesn't look like it used to tho! How do i know if its dead or dieing? Should there be things growing off of it all the time?

Thanks,

-rob C

If your live rock was live to begin with I cant see how it would die off unless your salinity was next to nothing. WHat does your rock look like now and why do you think it has died off ?
