77 or 82
I am using the coralife 1/4 HP chiller as a controller for the temp in the tank... The closest degree of control is +/- 2 degrees from the set point My question is would you recomend I set the "set point" as 80 (low of 78 high of 82) or 79 (high of 81 low of 77)
The tank is an SPS dominated mixed reef with a few fish ( YT tomato and six lined) Thanks for your opinion Dan |

either of those are fine, stability being the key.

Stability is where my concern lies.... with a range of 4 degrees eg. set at 79... goes as hot as 81 with the MH in the daytime and as low as 77 at night when the house is cooler... would it be better to run the heater independantly with hopes to get tighter control
Thanks Dan |
