Default re: Shipping macroalgae?

If I ship from Burnaby, BC to Medicine Hat, AB, would shipping it via Canada Post work well. Is it necessary to ship via Expedited or Overnight? Never shipped plants before so I don't know how fast it needs to get there to survive. If need be, I can ship Greyhound, but that's much farther away than the local post office.

TIA,

Anthony

For FW plants, 3-day mail (I think it is Express Post) works well. Actually I received a plant from the U.S. that took I think 29 days to get here and it was mostly mush but there was some viable plant that grew and survived. Macroalgae I am sure would ship just as well.

The best way is to ship it within a plastic bag with a moistened paper towel inside the bag, you don't need to keep it wet, you just want to keep it from drying out inside. Mail it on a Sunday night or Monday morning so it doesn't spend the weekend in transit.
