Default Octopus

Does anyone keep any Octopus?
If so, what kind and is the care easy or hard?
What do you feed it?

Everything I've read about them says to forget about it. They have a short lifespan (12-18 months), they need a species only tank and you have to be very careful approaching the tank as they can produce an ink blot that will cloud the entire tank requiring a massive water change.
