Default blotches on tang?

I have a powder blue tang, it has been doing well for a while, but this morning I noticed that he has whiteish blotches on his body. his activity has not changed and he is still eating. Is this something that I should be worried about and if so what is is and how do I fix it?

PS it is not ich, for those who have seen rabbitfish camoflage, it looks like that.

thanks

Gord

what are you feeding him?

Sometimes they will do that if they don't get enough seaweed/nori.

My powder blue had one big white blotch on the bottom side on Friday .The cause of the blotch is stress. When I got home that day the power was out from 930 to 630. It didn't take long for the tang to be his normal self again when the power went back on.

Default tang

This morning he is back to normal.

I am feeding the fish Emerald Entree frozen food and for a treat cyclopeez. I have tried nori, spirulina, broccoli, and different macro algaes, but he has no interest. my fear is that he is not getting enough veggies. is there anything else that I can try?

Try some spirulina nibblers. Grazing tangs love them.

Get him eating some PE mysis as well.
