Default Salt

I accidentally left the lid off the salt for a few days. Now it's all hard and chunky. Is it still salvageable or is it bad?

No prob. It's just oxidizing. I keep my salt in a bucket, half the size of the one it's sold in, with no lid. Easier for me for storage that way. It's always crusty and chunky. I just use a garden trowel to break it up when I measure it.

Cheers,

Geez, I never had that happen to me in all the time I've been reefing, except for the past few weeks. Now I keep an unopened pail of salt on top of the open salt. No more chunks.
