Default Switching from PC to MH

Hey everybody. It seems one of the ballasts on my 2x96 watt PC fixture has had the biscuit. I have a 250 watt MH retrofit kit that I can put in it's place. How should I go about aclimating the critters to the change in lights? I should mention the tank is a 33 gallon. Thanks for your time.

I used multiple layers of "screen door" screen I started 8 thick and took a layer off every 5 days slowly increasing the intensity of the light entering the tank.... worked for me going from 260W PC (130W actinic/10K) to 760W MH and PC (500W DE MH at 10K and 260W actinic PC)

JME other have decreased their photo period with MH
there was a thread just recently

I agree with Vanreefer, but I don't think you have to wait 5 days between screen removale. I read that you can remove one every other day.
