Default where to find, cheap mh pendant in calgary?

any tips where to purchase a mh pendent without spending 3-400 at big al's?

With some DIY mods you can retrofit a 150W DE setup into a Home Depot Halogen floodlight. The floodlights will run you about $30 each at the Home Depot. The 150W DE sockets/bulbs/etc can be found online for about $140 if I recall correctly.

cool, i have a flood light here, that looks like it might work! i'll post some pics soon.

think this will work? it had a 500watt bulb in it.

You'll still need to get the MH ballast and the MH sockets to make it work, but it should fit into the fixture itself.

can you get the retro kit locally? or you have to find it online...? I found a 1000w metal halide at a hydroponics place...but i think that'd be overkill
