Default would you rather...?

if you were conducting a job interview, what would you rather hear for an answer from the person you were interviewing?

the "right" answer, or the honest answer?

I think that would depend on the question asked.

Honest. I find they are more credible, and not kissing up already. I feel you can trust them more in the future. I do do the hiring for the company I work for. Having done 100 interviews, it's just what I like.

I agree with Marty, Honest answer is what i want to hear. As long as it;s supported by his/her reason or logical analsys of why he/she made that answer...cause sometimes the honest answer might not be what you want to hear but at lesat u can trust this person.

As a manager, i believe trust is a very important thing between a manager and an employee.

just my opinion.
