I could use a bucket of IO...those weekly water changes really suck up the salt

Default Price per bucket

Hey guys,

What does the average price per bucket work out to be? (ie on a 160gal Instant Ocean)

Thanks

It depends on where you get it from. I think JL is normally $49.99 but you don't really get a deal unless you buy a pallet (24) pails

From the last local salt group order, I think it was $69.99 or something like that through IA.

We'll be needing more salt as well. Eight 200g buckets of Kent would be fine for us

Have shipped from J&L in the past. Shipping costs for a pallet of 24 from J&L make the price slightly less than what we paid AI last time. However, I really liked setting up the order through AI where folks ordered their own salt and picked it up at their leisure. Shipping from J&L is a PITA to pick up and distribute, IME, and is not worth the difference is price between J&L and AI.

I'd volunteer to again talk to Ron at AI to set up the same deal as we had last time, if they can do it. How does that sound?

Since there is lots of interest I will take 2 or 3 pails. Bev if don’t mind setting up the order at AI since you have done it before.

Aww man.....All I need is a 50g bag. Lol. And my uncle might need a pail in the future but not soon(he will be setting up a tank). I'll talk to him about it, lol.
