Default 250 Watt Double Ended lights

I need some recommedations for double ended MH lights. I am currently using AB 250's but they need to be replaced. I would like good growth with eye pleasing color.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I run a CoralVue 13000K. I think it looks pretty sweet. Nice white-ish blue-ish. Not nearly as blue as my AB 20000K.

The Hamilton 14000K bulbs are supposedly great as well as the BLV 13000K.

Where can I get more information about the BLV 13000K I've never even heard of them?

Thanks.

I'm sure that RC will have something on those bulbs. I may be mistaken though, I'm not 100% sure BLV makes anything but a 10000K and a 20000K bulb.

Here is link to Sanjay Joshi's 10000K DE bulb comparison:

I'm not sure if it will help you, but you may find it useful. I forgot that Giesmann bulbs are also suppose to be quite good as well as the Aquaconnect 14000K which I have never seen in Canada.

Stay with the AB's you won't find a bulb as good as them. the only other I would suggest is a Ushio if they make DE's.

This may help. I see the rep in US and Canada is Ushio.

sorry missed this one, the information is in the previous post and quality wise they are supposedly on par with AB, from what I have read.
