interamerican has them for 10 bucks and big als is 12 so i figure i would just check here before i go to a store.

Depends on the quality and size ... the thinner ones are inexpensive for sure ... these are Spears and are very good ... maybe give them a call and see ( 291-1579 ) ... cash gets a discount btw

Just be careful about using sched-40 versus sched-80 bulkheads. The hole size needed is going to be different. For the most part sched-40 is more than adequate for our needs, we're not pumping up our water lines to 100psi (well .. except for maybe the RO feed and so on, but that's different). Sched-80 is a lot beefier (much more so than needed for our needs, we're not pressurizing the tanks).

Check out Hydroponic stores. Can't remember what I paid for mine (was a while back) but don't seem like they were that much.
