Default Dead Clown

So I wake up this morning and go downstairs to have a look at the tank and I can't find the clownfish anywhere. I look and look and finally I go to the back of the tank and the fish somehow managed to get behind all of the rock and die somehow... so should I take the rock out, enough to fish out the body, or should I just let it decompose and do water changes?

I would get it out, as carefully as you can ( without disturbing too much rockwork). If your tank is still fairly new you may not have the worm population needed to quickly take care of the carcass, and that could give you an ammonia spike.

Just to be on the safe side - and sorry to hear about your clownfish.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for the advice. BTW, the coral I bought from you on Saturday is doing great and looks great!
