Default Clean up crew.

Is too big of a clean up crew have bad effects?
I have a 70g tank and all the sudden I'm starting to have algee problems. So I've stepped up my crew.
18 emerald crabs
27 astrea snails
10 bumble bee snails
5 Mexican turbo snails
2 short tenticals urcants
2 red tip hermits
1 strawberry top
1 sea hair

I've also stepped up my phos bon and stoped dossing my amino acids and what not

If they run out of food and start dying it could cause problems, 18 emerald crabs seems really excessive
