Default Skimmer micro bubbles

I bought the new eshopps x 160 skimmer. My tank is still cycling, no skim mate coming out using the skimmer, thought there would be something.
It's been running for 3 days and constantly fills my display tank with micro bubbles.
Skimmer Level is at 7" in the sump, higher or lower doesn't change the micro bubbles, tried adjusting the skim to be more dry or wet and still microbubbles.
Does the skimmer still need to break in?
Anyone have any experience with this skimmer?
Any suggestions to get rid of the micro bubbles?
Thanks

Yes add fish and lots fish food and then some fish poo and some time. Problem solved.

Thought I would share, after 4 days of constant micro bubbles, the skimmer stopped making them. I assume it's broken in now. It is pulling some dark skim mate out now to.

Skimmer is still loud though.

I run a eshopps 100 hob skimmer on my display. I had a issue with micro bubbles for a while too but it went away and now it runs flawlessly. Pulls tons of skim and if i turn it right down it gets real dark skim.
