Default flame hawkfish

honestly I looked for one of these guys for three years. I was on the list at JL and also was on the lookout but never even seen one. I was able to get hold of one three weeks ago. it was a little sketchy at first as the clown and kole are jerks but all is great now. love this guy anyone else have one?

That's odd you had such a hard time finding one. They're pretty cool fish.

They are relatively common in Ontario but not something you will see every single week.

I've got one in my reef and enjoy his personality.

J&L has a couple last weekend. I was tempted to get one but they are $80 a pop.

definitely one of the more personable fish i've kept. the other kind of funny thing about mine is it doesn't seem to pay much attention to the hierarchy order in the tank and basically does as it pleases... honey badger style

Perhaps my favourite fish, they're hilarious. Look like something straight out of The Simpsons. J&L does get six or eight at a time they're not that rare, but awesome.
