Default Mandarin Gobby Male or Female??

Need some help identifying my mandarin gobby. Looks like a female cause it doesn't have a long spike but is it possible it broke off and never grew back?? Thanks for the help.

My male has a large dorsal fin he puts up. I believe the females don't have as large as a top fin.
