Default Tang's

I've had my powder blue tang and regal tang in cupramine for a month now at 0.5 and the ich won't go away! And now the powder blue has tiny brownish black spots is it black ich? Water quality is good they are eating good any suggestions?

Whats your salinity at?
I find that a lower salinity 1.023 is better when first quarantining tangs and before moving to display I gradually increase over a few weeks to 1.026 (display).

Have you tried NLS ick sheild pellets? Works wonders for me.

Odd. Scary to think maybe you found a strain that is resilient. Eek!

I think you ought to try a different method...maybe tank transfer?

Salinity is actually at 1.020 now but I'm trying methylene blue now for the powder blue it seems to breathe slower with it and is less stressed can methylene blue do this? Cause I just got a Achilles tang in another hospital tank and it is breathing a little bit fast and stressed with ich signs
