has anybody ever used a squid water director and if so what did you think, does it work?

I wan;t very impressed with mine. I actually sent it back. I found the pressure dropped quite a bit. I get just as much flow out of two outlets as one of the sqwd outlets. I had high hopes for it.

I think they work fairly well for the cost. They do add head pressure to your pump though (I've read that it adds up to 20% more head pressure). You do have to be careful about keeping debris out of them though. They can jam fairly easily if you aren't careful about that.

I have had mine running for two years now off a Mag5 and I luv it, and I know my reef likes it too
I soaked it in vinagar about two months ago, just to keep it clean and running smooth.
I would say it's one of the best buy's I have ever made for my reef
