Live Plants in Calgary
Well, I've come to the conclusion that I need some plants in my tank. Whenever the shark is doing his rounds the rest of the fish try to hide, but there just aren't enough good places for them. I went into Petland and they wanted about $10 per plant, and I was thinking of getting 4 or 5 for my 25 gallon tank. The price seemed a little high. Is there somewhere in Calgary that anybody knows about to get them cheaper?
Just to give you a little perspective on my tank; I don't view it as a hobby. I see my fish as low-maintenance pets. (ie, they don't bark, I can go away for the weekend and just have somebody drop some food into the tank, etc.)

Ask the same question at Alberta Aquatica, a better place to look for freshwater supplies. I know a bunch of people have some plants for sale and there is an upcoming auction where you should be able to find even more.
