Default Vacation Blues

Well, got home from holidays a day ago. Had auto feeder set up and neighbour checking on the tank every few days. Noticed when we got home the main tank was very full. I opened up the drains all the way to correct this and everything balanced. Doing tank maintenance this morning I found what appeared to be a partial fish body in the intake chamber of the sump. Did a quick head count and found my prized Sargassum trigger missing..... Now it makes sense. Must have somehow jumped into one of the corner overflows on the tank and went up the drain and got stuck, causing one drain to plug. Huge bummer, he was by far one of my favourite fish, huge personality and model citizen. Have plastic mesh all over the back of the tank so nobody can jump out but the overflows are open if someone jumped over into them which has never happened after a few years.

Crappy...
