Default Blue Tang Scar

I have a blue tang that has scars on his face, would it heal back or would it be a permanent mark on his face?

I appreciate your input.

Cheers!

Is it Head and Lateral Line Erosion? Do some research on that. If that's it, it can heal up with improved water conditions.

Thanks Myka. It looks like HLLE. I adopted this fish from my friend who shutdown his setup. I hope he recovers.
