Default 25 Gallon Cube

Hey all, been checking out my tank and figured I should share with you guys the progress of my little cube so far.

The tank is an 18 inch cube with external bean overflow, with a 12 gallon sump. An oversized stand, skinned in walnut to accomodate a longer sump.

Sump is divided to three sections with left being for skimmer and carbon, the right a pod fuge with chaeto, and the center being the return.

Ive always enjoyed sps, but like the look of a mixed reef. Sometimes a pain in the (*) to keep softies and lps with sps! Been up and running since September of 2014 and has been doing fairly well besides a mystery sponge/algae/something or other. Which is still currently still in the tank but slowly disappearing. Current stock list is a little heavy, for the time being with two clowns, hectors goby, firefish goby and a yellow wrasse, scarlet shrimp, porcelain crab and the usual clean up crew. Picked up a few frags and mini colonies off of some canreefers and everything is looking pretty good and have started to grow! thanks guys

I just bought a house, and have the wifes blessing for the bigger tank! Thinking at least 165 gallons display with tied in sump, fuge, and frag tank. Going to be the longest two months! Hope you all enjoyed this short lived cube of mine!

Looks great. Is it hard to access with the sump so far back inside the stand like that?

Thanks, one of other enjoyments of the hobby and again can sometimes drive someone mad!

It's a little tight near the back, but everything that I need to access regularly is near the front. I can't quite remember, but I think my sump is 24"x 12" x 10", so even reaching the back is not that difficult.
