Default FS: Hang-on-tank, CC skimmer; Calgary

Hang-on tank, counter-current style, airstone/powerhead driven skimmer. This is just sitting around collecting dust. Everytime I look at it I'm tempted to cut it up and scavenge the acrylic tubing for other stuff. Or I might use it again but way down the line and .. well .. it may as well get used by someone else in the meantime if someone has a use for it.

So if anyone can use it, please drop me a line. I'd prefer to see it get used again

$50 OBO, or trade for something ..

To be honest, I'm not sure. It's not a big skimmer. I've run it on a 50g and a 20g. Kim (Tau2301) ran the same skimmer on his system when he had his tank up and running. But I forget how big his tank was. I'm guessing it was also a 50g.

It's amazing how often people ignore air driven skimmers. They're actually one of the better designs. This particular one would probably do a great job on a 50g.
