Default help, anemone health

Got a bubble tip anemone from the local fish store and regret declining it after it was removed off the glass it was anchored to. I've always thought it was best to force then to remove via means of flow or light? Anyways it looked horrible the day of in our tank, then good the next day, abs now today horrible. It is anchored to rock upside down, which I thought was a good sign but guts hanging out. Thoughts?

It looks like it's a goner but leave it alone do not touch it it's still attached. I pry them off my rocks all the time and cut them in half with a razor blade and put them back in my tank. If they are healthy propagated specimen they are almost bullet proof.

I wouldn't worry about pulling off the glass besides transferring it on a rock that's the easiest way. The key is how it's done catch edge with butter knife or something like and apply pressure until it releases. Do not tear the foot. I have torn the foot clean off a couple and they survived but they were healthy and not transferred to another tank.

Yeah it looks like its not going to make it, have you tried feeding in though, if it takes food you might have a shot, I truly believe you cant overfeed anemones.

Just leave it alone and don't try to move it unless it's coming in contact with something dangerous like powerheads and overflow, etc. I had BTA getting worse than that (sucked into a powerhead turning almost into a meat ball and came back alive after 2 months but look like 1/3 of the size before. Alive and well nonetheless). I don't even feed it in purpose just with strong light.

Thanks everyone for input - yes we tried feeding it the same day we got it, it again seems to have gotten better today. I guess only time will tell!

I've learned in this hobby that you can never make a quick conclusion that something has died.

attached is a link to a photo of the bubble tip today:

Wow, first pick looked like it was melting or turning inside out, but it was prob actually just torn now it's healing and prob splitting because of the tear. Best is always leave it and don't feed until both pcs have formed mouths. Feeding a sick nem can actually sometimes make things worse
