Default Dosing mixture

So I am wanting to make my dosing mixture. I have calcium chloride and soda ash and I'm wondering what ratio people use? I was going to try 10:1 and test from there but I would like to hear any other advice

Not sure what you mean by 10:1. You weren't planning on mixing the 2 together were you ?
10:1 is a Magnesium dose for people with calcium reactors ... so you've got me confused

You want to start by testing your tank for a couple days to see how much it uses, and then start dosing while testing daily.
After the first week if you have everything stable you can then back off the testing to weekly and then finally monthly if you like.
I still test weekly

Here's a BRS Video for you

And here's where you can look to get an idea about how much to start dosing with
Look halfway down the page for the starting dosages, but I'd recommend you read the whole writeup

If I misunderstood your question completely, the reefkeeping writeup will show you how to mix up your 2-part

Bulk Reef Supply has a video on how to mix it as well on their site.

No I'm not mixing together I ment 10:1 ten parts water one part chemical. I have been dosing with pre mixed stuff already and I'm using 5ml a day to keep calcium at 420. The product I got is in bulk and its dry and I'm just trying to figure what concentration is best.

Use the recipe on BRS or Google Randy's 2-part. I always weigh the salts rather than measuring volume - much more accurate.
