Default Film on Acrylic

I have a Nano that I bought used and dirty. When I got it home I cleaned it with vinegar and water and gently washed the glass and all equipment. I'm looking at the glass and am noticing that there is a film on the glass. No matter what I use it won't come off. Here is a picture. I read online that some people have buffed it out. Has anyone tried that? Any other tips for me? When water is in it it's not as noticeable but it's still there. I feel like the person kept it dirty so that the film wouldn't be noticed by me. So frustrating!!!
