Default Will the ai nano be okay for a clam?

Debateing a light, was thinking the nano to save my pocket a little.. But would the ai nano be sufficient for a clam? Or should i just spend the cash and get the hydra.. Its a 25 gallon, 24" deep. I know the hydra is better, but just want to know if the nano will work

Some have had luck keeping a clam under the nano. More importantly will be keeping your water parameters stable in the smaller tank cause the clam will rapidly deplete calcium and alk.
