Question What timer should I use

I want dose 2 part alk.& cal. and plan on using 2- BRS 1.1 ml dosing pumps.
What timers should I be using for each pump. Is using electronic timers for each pump ok?

Laurie, why did you choose not to go with an all in one doser?

Hey Laurie

I'll assume you don't have a tank controller ?

Yes, any timers will do, whether analog or digital
But for fine-tuning times, such as minutes and seconds, digital is a must

I have my dosers connected to my Digital Aquatics RKE and am able to time my daily Mag to seconds so as to get the exact amount needed in relation to my daily Alk and Ca usage
If I daily dose, for example, 65 mins each of Alk and Ca, I want to dose 10 mins and 28 seconds of Mag daily to balance my total monthly usage

Then I can fine-tune from there based on usage with weekly testing

I have access to 2 BRS timers for a good deal, and they are good quality.
