Anyone know where I could get 1 1/2" slip/slip couplers in Edmonton as well as other 1 1/2" plumbing?

Just cut a piece of 1.5" pipe for the slip/slip coupling. I find Lowes the best place here in Calgary for PVC plumbing parts, I'm not sure in Edmonton.

1" PVC fits inside 1.5" perhaps. Just cut a small section and use it as a coupling.

Socket coupling are to connect pipe, since he said slip/slip coupling, I assumed he was connecting 1.5" fittings. He could have meant internal coupling but why would you want to introduce a restriction if it isn't necessary.

Have you tried Bartle & Gibson on the south side or northside (Fort Road) or Best Plumbing on the west end?

Not sure who would carry it in Calgary, but I really had awesome success at Bartle & Gibson in Edmonton. Have you checked out plumbing stores in Calgary?
