Default Chloramine filter

Who in Edmonton use Chloramine filter? And is it a necessity. ? Thanks.

just a aquasafecanada unit with standard pre-filters (5 micron granular carbon and 1 micron carbon block).

Old article but oks regular rodi systems.

I switched to chloramine blocks from carbon blocks. Edmonton uses chloramine to treat there water not chlorine. From what I understand carbon removes chlorine and not chloramine. I only switched about a year ago.
