Default Leaking Bulkhead

I have a new set up, and can't seem to get my "main drain bulkhead" to seal. The bulkhead is a little loose in the hole, and it seem to leak down the outside threads. Slow drip. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

did you clean the area the gasket rests against?

i've only ever done hand tight and never a problem. maybe inspect the gasket?

Default Leaking Bulkhead

Just to confirm, the rubber gasket is on the water(wet) side of the glass?

Have you tried to tighten using a pair of water pump pliers?

I think the culprit is a cracked bulkhead. Have gone to a glued in Slip type, as apposed to a thread/thread. fingers crossed.
