We have a 425 Gallon set up.. & out A.T.O seems to be putting in 5-10 gallons every 24 hours.. Is this normal? Seems crazy!

Sounds normal to me, my 100 gallon set up evaporates 2 - 2.5 gallons per day.

Yep totally normal. My 125 is at about 2gpd with an open top tank and covered sump.

My 160 (total water volume) does about 10 gallons every 5 days and my 80 gallon does even more as it is next to the furnace with no boards to keep the humidity in the sump area.

Definitely normal, my 300 gallon system, consumes 6-8 gallons in top off a day during the winter, about 5 gallons in the summer since its more humid

That's not bad, I have a open top 40 gallon total setup, I lose about 1 gallon a day. It is right over top of a heat vent, I expect to lose even more during summer.

Right now my open top 90g is using just under 2.5g/day of ATO. Sometimes less sometimes more. Right now is has been so dry in my house that it's on the upper end for evaporation. In the summer I was going through about 5g/week.

Another one that says that is about normal, especially in the winter time with lower humidity levels. The winter I go through 5 gals every 2-3 days, in the summer it is every 3-4 days..

I have a 90 gallon DT and glass tops on it, with a 50 gallon half full sump not covered and loose approx. 1 gallon a day. Kind of a good humidifier system for the house in winter months IMO.
