Default LF 1/4" JG Valve

Just looking for a 1/4" John Guest ball valve with speed fit. Wondering if someone has one I could buy, this weekend, hopefully nearby. I was going to get it at Andrew Sheret Langley, but they are closed this weekend. I have seen the Watts brand, but they have leaky reviews, not willing to take that chance.

been using the ones from Home Depot (believe Watts) for years, not one has leaked. Only problem has been after about 8 years the one on the ro/di getting little stiff so replaced.

Ian, you're not looking to use a Speed Fit on plastic tubing are you ?
If so, I'd recommend you use Quick Connect instead
Speed Fit is meant for copper and compresses the pipe. Not good for RO lines

As stated above, Home Depot has these things in Quick Connect made by Watts, but I don't think they carry the JG Speed Fit line

Maybe I used the wrong terminology, lol. You might be right, quick connect, is that what's used on the ro/di ? Thank Gregg.
I'll hit up HD or Lowes tonight or tomorrow.

I don't understand what you're worried about
These fittings work just fine

Just buy them and go with it bud

The only thing you need to know about them is you have to make sure they (the hose) are seated fully to make a great seal
The hose goes into the fitting quite far so you'd be best to test-fit a couple pieces to start off with

And make sure your tube ends aren't sharp so they don't mess up the o-rings inside the fittings
