Default HELP needed in Kelowna

A fellow reefer in Kelowna (don't think he is on Canreef) posted this on local site after his tank crashed

http://classifieds.castanet.net/deta...rash./1850770/

he is coming to see me this afternoon, but will make my tanks pretty crowded. If anyone can help with temporarily housing some of these (and other things (corals, anenome, ...)) from his tank, pm me. He has everything in buckets atm.

Thanks.

Is there not a fish store locally that can house them?

Not that I can do much from this end but I was just wondering
if there had a successful outcome to this crisis?

LFS wouldn't take them.
I have them in my tank now. He showed up at my door with everything in one bucket. Salinity in the water was up to 1.030. Probably took a big chance but couldn't stand seeing those fish in the bucket. Didn't use any of his water and dipped all the corals and rock.

In my refugium
2 ocolleris clowns
1 gamma

In the main tank
blue spot trigger
banghai cardinal
cleaner wrasse
6 line wrasse
watchman goby and pistol shrimp
one brain coral
one rock half covered with gonipora
one gorgonian

Everything seems to be doing fine and my existing fish are playing nicely with the new fish (which I was a little worried about). I have a old clown that can be a bit of a bully.

Only casualty looks like will be the rose bubble tip anenome. it came floating free in the bucket. tried to drip it slowly down to 1.025 and it attached partially to the container I had put it into. next morning had been dropping tentacles and losing color. now it's separated in my sump and will need to go if it doesn't recover so it doesn't release any toxins into my tank.

Not sure what's exactly is happening with this other reefer. He dosed too quickly with biopellets in his RSM 250. I see now his RSM is up for sale and he is looking for a bigger tank.

There must be a statute of limitations where I own these. LOL

Good luck to you both

You're a person with their heart at the right place
Sounds like quite the hasty re-location for the occupants.
Good the read that (almost) all are doing well.

Cheers,
-Benoit
