Default Check valves on Calcium reactor?

Do i need to put check valves in any of the lines on my calcium reactor? I see some designs with check valves in the lines and many that don't. Please let me know.

Hello,

It is a must for calcium reactors between the needle valve and the bubble counter, unless the counter comes attached to the needle valve. And don't use the cheap stuff as they will leak.
