Default Favia Coral Help Or Advice...

Hey guys,

With the removal of the piece of monti I got rid of this weekend, I found my 2 pieces of favia coral in the back, doing actually quite well! So the original reason they went back there, they fell off a rock face down and all the heads were dead (so I thought..lol).

So now I'd like to see what you guys would recommend to get them really growing again and actually getting structure and spreading. I know they are slow growers, but just wondering if I should put them on the live rock, or leave them on the sand.

I have radions over my 20gal (Not cranked up at all, ijust wanted proper light spread all over the tank.). So I have lots of light if needed. I feed my corals mysis once or twice a week.

Params are:
Mg 1340
Alk 8.2 dkh
Cal 440
1.026 salinity.

Any advice or sucesses you had with them in the past would be great. Thanks.

I would place the favias on a rock, in an area of low flow and feed them Mysis once per week.
I've had one for 13+ years and that's what I've found works best for them.
