Default Lower Mainland Plumbing Supplies?

Hi there,

Last yoear I bought smeone's existing setup and have been operating it succesfully for over a year. As I learned more about this wonderful hobby, I added my own touch to it (a controller, kalk doser, etc). I would like to re-do some of the plumbing now.

Does anybody have an idea wher I could buy some PVC pipe, valves, unions, and all that stuff locally?

Thanks,

Catalin

Andrew Sheret Ltd or Corix Water Supplies will be the cheapest and most comprehensive places. Otherwise, Home Depot, Rona etc. have lots too.

What he said.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago here: http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/sho...d.php?t=102536

Bc plumbing code says that sch80 must be used in ground now so sherrit and corix has sch80 fittings and pipe.

Catalin,

Being that you are in New West. Best place is either Lowes over the Queensborough there. (They have more than Home Depot) - or a little further in Richmond to Corix, which is the Mecca of plumbing.

There is an Andrew Sheret in burnaby on edmunds and kingsway, do not go to lowes or Home Depot, they are a rip off if you to sherets they are a wholesaler, public welcome, I know this because I am a plumber and shop at sherets everyday

I got all my plumbing supplies from Andrew Sherit as well good prices and helpful staff mind you they don't get asked every day about aquarium plumbing so be prepared for some puzzled looks if you ask about plumbing supplies for aquariums

And as others have said stay away from Rona's,Home Depot, Lowes and other places like that or you be paying a lot more than what you would be at Andrew Sherit
