Default Lost my very first fish today.

Well Puggy, you were a good fish, but you are old and tired, your fins are worn down to nubs, You've gone blind but grew fat and happy like an old fish should. It is time little fishie, you lived a good life.

Pugnacious was my very first fish, I was jealous of my husbands
fancy planted tank and saw this stiking black devil at the LFS Pugsly was around 3 and a half. Today he was having trouble swimming, his gills were puffy and his chronic tail rot had returned.
This damn fish survived 2 tank crashes (holiday sitter related) I had put him in his own spec 5 to live out his retirement about 6 months ago. After seeing him struggle and knowing I was leaving for Seattle in a week I had to make the decision to send him to the great aquarium in the sky.

I've lost many fish for many reasons, but this guy was my very first.
