Default Tank leak...new tank to the rescue!

After getting home from vacation, my tank did quiet look right.
After looking around, I thought my filter socks were clogged .
So I pulled them out.
Still kept loosing water didn't notice until after I went to work.
Came home to about 30 gallons on the floor.
Figured out my return line bulkhead or something around that area is leaking. I don't have access due to the return was drill threw the bottom.
So I rush to get my new system up and going. Forgetting that I had to rinse the sand out first... Forgot in the panic.
Did a full 1000 gallon water change.... Took 8 hours!
My water is still grey.... But the fish seem okay and I'm running a lot of carbon and gfo... Needless to say I'm waiting beside my tank all night.
Thank god I had my new tank waiting. And a huge thanks to Eli and Dave!
