Default Canadian Tank

Here are a few shots of the tank. I hope you enjoy.

This is a Northern Spearnose Poacher. The scales on it are like armour making it very rigid. Its fascinating to watch it move around.

Scalyhead Sculpin and Pygmy Rock Crab sneaking up on it. I had a larger one of these crabs but it started going after the swimming scallops so its been sumped until further notice.

Close up of some Strawberry Anemones.

Rhinocerous crab.

Butterfly Crab.

Grainy photo of my Decorated Warbonnet. Its still a little shy.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. Yes, a full tank shot would be really neat to see.

Matt, nice shots!! I used to be the Chef at Pacific Shores, have you checked out their tanks? Awesome examples of local cold water inhabitants.

I would love to do a temperate tank, some of the local marinelife is beautiful. Are these Atlantic or Pacific species? I have not seen any of these diving locally except the sculpins.

I did have one but I lost it among some other stuff during the heat wave. A fuse blew while I was out and the tank went up to a balmy 72 degrees.

The tanks easy to do. All thats really different is the chiller and you have to skim the heck out of it and do lots of water changes since the breakdown of organic waste slows down to a crawl. Their all Pacific species and your not diving in the right spots.
