Summer trip to calgary

It has been years since I've been to Calgary and the wife hasn't ever been. We will be taking our twinkies to the zoo but I'm curious to know what other sites and attractions would be good to see.

As a kid I went to the zoo and got ****ed on by a tiger... Those buggers can aim. So not a great memory and a bit fearful of a repeat but anything for the kids lol

Any info and ideas will help in my planning so thanks in advance

Well this isn't right in Calgary but there is the Tyrrell museum in drumheller.

How old and what gender are the kids? Drumheller's dinosaurs is always a good bet with little guys.

They will be 4 when we go and they are girls

The science center is all new and right next to the zoo. There's also a new indoor play center in the NE called Treehouse which will be a hit for sure. I'll also suggest the museum, my son was only 20m and he loved it.

Also you could plan to come during the stampede week. Lots going on there for the kids.
