Default snowflake help

had him for about 3-4months.he is about a foot long.for the first month i fed him aqua yums frozen krill on a stck.he never really got excited about food and woul only eat about 4-5 a week then i tried feeding him frozen shrimp at first he loved them but now he refuses to eat them.i went back to the frozen krill and he seem not to even notice them anymore.he hasnt grown at all in the time that ive had him and i think he is malnourished.the only thing i can seem to get him to eat now are live ghost shrimp and he stiilm only eats two small ones every opther day.what can i do to spark his appetite and get him eating more?

Try soaking the food in some garlic stuff. I dont know what its called. Someone else might know what its called. Also you might want to try feeding it silver sides. Also it may be on a hunger strike. All eels go on one of these once in a while. It can last from 1 week to a month. Hope that helps. They are really tough.

Is your water quality good? Does he have lots of places to hide and hang out?

I'd try shrimp and squid from a fish market. My eels never really liked krill.
I would not worry yet, they can go a long time with out food.

My eel Really likes Pieces of Fish (Salmon Halibut Etc.) sonetimes I buy Fish trim at Safeway (Tail and fin sections) and just cut it into bite size peices.

How often does a healthy eel eat? Daily?
